WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Seven individuals and a state championship team will be inducted into the Windsor Locks Athletic Hall of Fame on Friday, Nov. 25. Inductees are Meghann Booth, Paul Callahan, Pete Couture, Danny Farr, C. Glenn Flanders Jr., Nancy (Shapiro) O'Brien, Tim Talbot and the 1983 Class M 4x400 relay team of Billy Johns, Tom Sevigny, Rob LaBreche and Kevin Mockalis. Couture and Flanders will be honored posthumously.

The induction ceremony will take place at La Notte in East Windsor. Tickets may be purchased at the Windsor Locks Park and Rec office. For ticket information, contact Dave Farr, dfarralbb@aol.com or 860-819-0992.

Meghann Booth
A 3-sport athlete playing soccer, basketball and track. She was All-State soccer twice and All-Conference three times. In her senior year, the Raiders were state runners-up to Granby. She played soccer at Eastern Connecticut State University, was All-Conference for three years and made All-New England her senior year.

Paul Callahan
A 3-sport athlete in soccer, basketball and baseball. For two years, he was the assist leader in basketball. He was All-Conference three years and All-State in soccer, scoring 14 and 12 goals his final two seasons. He played soccer at Brown University.

Pete Couture
A PBA bowler for 24 years and member of the PBA Hall of Fame. He won five PBA mnational titles and nine senior titles, was PBA50 rookie of the year, and has been inducted into seven halls of fame.

Danny Farr
A 3-sport athlete in soccer, basketball and baseball. He was All-State in soccer and part of the 1990 state championship team. In his senior year in baseball, he batted over.400 and made the senior bowl. His junior year, the baseball team reached the state semifinals. In basketball, he led the Raiders in assists, steals and 3-point shots made.

C. Glenn Flanders Jr.
Played baseball and basketball, batting over .400 in his junior year. In 1942, he was part of the American Legion state tournament team. He also played baseball and basketball at Brown University. Both the Pittsburgh Pirates and Brooklyn Dodgers were interested in him as a baseball player.

Nancy (Shapiro) O’Brien
Played on the first field hockey, basketball and softball teams. In one season, she won seven games as a pitcher. Her senior year in basketball, she averaged over 18 points. In her junior and senior seasons, the Raiders' regular season record was 33-2. She played in the Hardwood Basketball Classic. At Springfield College, she played field hockey and basketball.

Tim Talbot
He was a 3-sport athlete in soccer, basketball and baseball, making All-State and All-Conference in soccer. In spite of losing the state championship soccer game to Guilford, Tim was
selected MVP. He played goalie for Air Force Academy. In baseball, he hit 10 home runs.

1983 4x400 Relay Team
Johns, Sevigny, LaBreche and Mockalis combined to win the Class M outdoor championship.
