Coffee House In East Windsor Delays Planned Closing: UPDATED
Huge increases in the cost of food and supplies, coupled with the minimum wage increase, have made it difficult for the shop to stay afloat.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — A coffee house at Sofia's Plaza in East Windsor will soon be shutting its doors for good, but exactly when is unclear.
According to a notice posted on social media, Baker and the Brew, a specialty shop offering breakfast and lunch sandwiches on top of gourmet coffees, hot drinks and smoothies, said it will permanently close on Feb. 29.
A message from the owner reads, "Due to the recent minimum wage increase and a large increase in the cost of food and supplies, we can no longer afford to keep our shop open. We are all very sorry that everything is coming to an end."
