- A pair of local students have been named to the Marist College Dean's List for the spring 2018 semester.
Nancy Montemerlo of Windsor Locks is a member of the Class of 2018 and is majoring in Psychology/Special Education, and Nicholas Aprea of Broad Brook is a member of the Class of 2020 and is majoring in Communication.

- Anjelica Simao, of Windsor Locks, graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administrationistration in Business Management at Monroe College's 85th Annual Commencement held on June 13, 2018 at Radio City Music Hall. More than 2,600 students from 53 countries received Associate, Bachelor's or Master's degrees and professional certificates at the commencement.
