EAST WINDSOR, CT — Firefighters took about 40 minutes to extinguish a blaze at a commercial building in the town's industrial park Thursday night.

Around 10:17 p.m., members of the Warehouse Point and Broad Brook fire departments were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm sprinkler activation at 8 Craftsman Road. NLR Recycling and Comfort Solutions are the two businesses which occupy the space, according to Warehouse Point Fire Chief Jim Barton.

A light smoke condition was discovered in one portion of the building, and following forcible entry into a second portion, firefighters encountered a heavy smoke condition and began searching for the fire, officials said.
