Convenience Store Burglarized In Windsor Locks [VIDEO]
Police are investigating the burglary, which took place in the early morning hours Sunday.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Police are investigating a burglary which occurred at JJ's News Stand at 255 Main Street in the early morning hours Sunday.
The Windsor Locks Police Department posted a surveillance video of the burglary on its Facebook page. It shows a person wearing a red head covering smashing in the glass door, scurrying to the cigarette shelf, loading cigarettes into a dark sack and running back out of the store, all in a span of about 35 seconds.
About 40 packs of Newport menthol cigarettes were stolen, at an estimated total of $400. Cost to repair the door is approximately $1,000, Lt. Paul Cherniack said.

The suspect is heavy set, standing 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, and was wearing a dark jacket with white sleeves and gray pants. Due to the suspect's face being covered, the suspect's gender is unknown but most likely a male, Cherniack said.
