Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Eastern Connecticut State University inducted 31 students into the Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK) national honor society. Among the inductees was junior Ryan Tarko of Windsor Locks, who majors in Communication. Established at Eastern in 1994, ODK is a national leadership honor society that recognizes juniors and seniors who demonstrate remarkable leadership responsibility in campus programs and extracurricular activities. To be eligible, students must also have a minimum GPA of 3.77 on a 4.0 scale.

University of Connecticut, Storrs CT

• A number of students from East Windsor recently earned degrees from UConn.
