E-commerce Growth Sets Record At Bradley

The growth of package delivery services has helped a spike in cargo-related revenues at Bradley International Airport.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT - Bradley International Airport has seen a spike in traffic due to package-delivery and supply-chain companies, according to The Hartford Business Journal. Last year, the airport handled 281 million pounds of freight and mail shipped, representing a 16.4 percent increase versus 2017.

Companies operating out of Bradley include FedEx, UPS, DHL, and others. The airport recorded a record $9.2 million in cargo-related revenues in 2018.
