East Windsor Aid Slashed In Malloy's Plan; Windsor Locks Spared
East Windsor state aid would be cut in 2019 fiscal year by 8 percent in latest plan proposed by Malloy; Windsor Locks only loses $25,000.

The bad news keeps coming for Connecticut municipalities as the state attempts to claw out from under its budget mess.
Under Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's revised, proposed adjustments to the fiscal year 2019 budget previously adopted by the legislature state municipal aid would be cut nearly $100 million - both in the education and non-education side.
For East Windsor, it would be a 8 percent cut from the previously approved $6.9 million total - to $6.36 million. The news is a bit better for Windsor Locks - as its allocation of $8.06 million would only be cut $25,000 to $8.03 million.
