East Windsor Bakeshop Closes Its Doors
Less than a year after opening a second location, the owners of a bakeshop decided to shut it down, but hinted at re-opening elsewhere.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — A Cromwell-based bakeshop which opened a second location in the Windsorville/Broad Brook section of East Windsor less than a year ago has announced its closure.
From Chan Bakeshop has permanently closed its location at 6 Wapping Road, which opened last fall. On its social media page, the owners wrote, "After careful consideration, we have decided to close our Broad Brook bakeshop to concentrate on a new location."
No further details were provided regarding a potential new location.

From Chan had replaced the short-lived Frankie B's Bakery at that site. Other tenants of 6 Wapping in recent years have been Septicology and Hartford Toner and Cartridge.
