East Windsor Event Will Connect Veterans With Benefits And Services
Veterans are invited to a benefits and resources briefing March 20 at the East Windsor Senior Center.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — Local veterans and their families will have an opportunity to learn more about available benefits and services during a briefing scheduled later this month at the East Windsor Senior Center.
State Rep. Jaime Foster, who represents East Windsor, Ellington and Vernon, and State Rep. Kevin Brown of Vernon will host the session alongside Devon Julien Sr., a veteran and veterans service officer with the Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs.
The event, titled “Honoring Our Veterans: Benefits & Resources Briefing,” will focus on providing an overview of benefits available to veterans, updates on programs for senior veterans and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.

Organizers said the briefing is designed to help veterans better understand available resources and connect them with assistance programs that may support health care, financial benefits and other services.
The event will take place March 20 at 12:30 p.m. at the East Windsor Senior Center.
