East Windsor Back-To-School Help
Qualified East Windsor families can apply for backpacks and grade-appropriate school supplies through East Windsor Social Services.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — East Windsor Social Services is accepting applications for its Back to School Backpack Program, which provides backpacks and grade-appropriate school supplies to qualified East Windsor families.
To qualify, applicants must be East Windsor residents and have children registered in the East Windsor school system.
Family income guidelines are based on 300 percent of the federal poverty level. The listed limits are $64,920 for a household of two, $81,960 for three, $99,000 for four, $116,040 for five, $133,080 for six, $150,120 for seven and $167,160 for eight.

Applicants must provide documentation, including identification or birth certificates, Social Security cards for all household members, current utility bills, a current lease or mortgage statement, all pages of current bank statements and proof of income. Income documentation may include four consecutive weeks of pay stubs, Social Security, child support, veterans benefits, pension information, unemployment payment history or a current Department of Social Services worksheet.
Forms became available June 17. The deadline to submit forms and documentation is July 31, 2026.
