East Windsor Farmers Market 2017 Season
East Windsor Farmers Market Opening Day June 25, 2017
Our opening day for the East Windsor Farmers Market is Sunday June 25th
with our last day on September 24th, and we are inviting you to come
and support local.
The
mission of the East Windsor Farmers’ Market is to provide local
residents the opportunity to buy fresh Connecticut Grown produce, browse
in other food and non-food booths, and just have some fun. Local
residents are encouraged to come to the Connecticut Trolley Museum on
Sundays from 11am - 2pm, from June 25th - September 24th, located on Route 140 in
East Windsor.
In 2017, the Market anticipates further expansion of the number and
variety of vendors, as well as increasing the assortment of
entertainment offerings.
Using the Market’s current “anchor” farmers as a base, other vendors are
being added, including, but not limited to bakeries, “lunch on the go”
booths, and unique produce (different than that offered by the typical
farmer). This may include items such as “organic” produce and heirloom
tomatoes, as well as cheese or honey. And perhaps egg farmers and
butchers.
Each week, there may also be local craftsmen offering their creations such
as jewelry, homemade crafts and clothing. On most days entertainment
will also be offered. Community groups will also have access to booths.
Some of the booths will have a decidedly ethnic flavor. Each week will
be different!
Please spread the word of this wonderful community event. We look forward to seeing you during the market season!!
