East Windsor Gas Station Robbed; Police Searching for Suspect
A man implied he had a gun and escaped with an undetermined amount of cash, according to police.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Route 140 gas station early Wednesday morning.
Around 4:20 a.m., police responded to the Sunoco Gas Station on Bridge Street for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, the clerk advised officers the suspect had run west out of the parking lot.
A K-9 unit from the Connecticut State Police responded in an attempt to track the suspect, but it was unsuccessful, police said.

Surveillance video showed the clerk attempted to prevent the suspect from getting behind the counter. The suspect forced his way to the cash register by shoving the clerk to the ground. He implied he had a gun and would shoot the clerk, police said.
The man stole an undisclosed cash from the register and then ran out of the business, according to police.

The suspect appears to be a thin white male, about 6 feet tall, with missing teeth in the front.
