East Windsor Man Faces Drug, Gun Charges
An East Windsor man has applied for accelerated rehabilitation.
EAST WINDSOR, CT - An East Windsor man arrested on drug and weapons charges has applied for two state rehabilitation charges that could result in the dismissal of charges, The Journal-Inquirer reported.
Marc Betancourt, 45, was arrested in August following a police raid of his home. He was charged on numerous counts including second-degree reckless endangerment, risk of injury to a minor, operation of a drug factory and second-degree possession of an assault weapon.
Police said they found a large-scale marijuana operation, explosives, and numerous high-powered rifles at a Wesley Road home.

The drugs found at Betancourt's home included 193 marijuana plants, 1153 grams of processed marijuana, along with seeds, grow equipment, scales and packaging. The guns included an Uzi, an AK-47 with a loaded magazine, an AR-15 and a bump stock used for additional ammunition.
