The Connecticut Trolley Museum is receiving a state grant for a restoration project.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - The Connecticut Electric Railway Association (aka The Connecticut Trolley Museum) in East Windsor was awarded $50,000 in state grants recently. The award is part of the state Department of Economic and Community Development's program Good to Great, which recently awarded more than $3 million to 11 organizations across Connecticut.

The grant will go toward the ongoing restoration of one of the museum's most historically significant trolleys - Connecticut Company Car #3001.
