
Gerald F. Mikulske, 75, of Windsor, beloved husband of Patricia (Mossey) Mikulske, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Hartford Hospital.
Born in Hartford to the late Frank and Ann (Donaluk) Mikulske, he was raised in Hartford and has been a Windsor resident for almost 50 years. Jerry, as he was known, served his country proudly with the US Army during the Vietnam War era and owned and operated L & M Motors in East Windsor for many years with his childhood friend Edward LeGeyt. Jerry was a proud member of the NRA, the Cam Jammers in Windsor and a local model airplane flying club.
Besides his wife Patricia of Windsor, he is survived by his daughters, Jerilyn Mikulske and her fiance, Stephan Zajac of Windsor and Anne Marie Truhan and her husband Christopher of Barre, VT; his grandchildren, Ryan James and Cassidee; his nephew E. J. LeGeyt; his sister in law Patricia Mikulski; and many other loving nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Michael F. Mikulske, his grandson Michael J. Mikulske, his brother Robert and his sister Marion.

His family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 2 from 4 PM to 7 PM at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 3 at the funeral home, followed by burial in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family requests that all guests wear casual attire.
