
Ruthann S. Boynton, 77, of East Windsor, beloved wife of Raymond C. Boynton passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartford.
Born July 4, 1940 in Hartford, daughter of the late Andrew and Dorothy (Shellington) Smith, Ruthann lived in East Windsor all her life. Ruthann, a graduate of Bay Path Junior College, was involved with many different crafts over the years. She had a special interest in antiques, was an acclaimed rug hooker, and volunteered her time and talent for more than 30 years in the costume department at the Old Sturbridge Village, Sturbridge, MA.
Besides her loving husband, Raymond, she is survived by a son Drew Boynton, his wife Jennifer and granddaughter Sarah of Enfield.

Her family will receive friends Monday, May 21, 2018 from 6-8 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018, 10:00 AM, at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, East Windsor.
