East Windsor PD: Man Stole Car, Items From Big Y, Walmart

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Police said they have caught a suspect who stole a car after it was left running unoccupied in front of a business in Broad Brook earlier in the week. The man was found by a patrolling officer in front of Eagle's Nest Pawn Shop attempting to sell brand new household goods.

According to police, these items were determined to be stolen from Walmart.

Police found a large amount of meat, seafood on ice, and laundry detergent in the vehicle that they said had just been stolen from the Big Y in Enfield and totaled about $900 in value.

"Proactive policing keeps you safe and it is what our officers are doing each day to prevent and solve crimes," police said in a Facebook post.
