East Windsor Police Rule Man's Death Homicide: UPDATE
A 73-year-old man's death has been deemed a homicide and police are searching for a suspect.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Police have determined that the death of a 73-year-old man found Wednesday was homicide, WTNH reported. Police said they responded to a call at around 8 a.m. regarding an unresponsive male at 229 Fairway Drive.
The victim has been identified as Halsey Hesse Jr., 73, reports NBC CT.
They found Hesse's body in the kitchen of the mobile home. Hesse had been found by a family member who police said conducted a welfare check after he could not reach Hesse by phone.

An autopsy revealed that the victim suffered multiple stab wounds. Police believe that Hesse and the suspect were known to each other, according to WTNH.
Local police are working on the investigation with the State Police Major Crime Squad. They do not believe there is any threat to the public.
