East Windsor Police Investigating Baby's Death (Updated)
A 2-month-old baby was found unresponsive Wednesday morning and was later pronounced dead.

UPDATE:
East Windsor Police say the autopsy was inconclusive in terms of cause and manner of death. The medical examiner has cause and manner of death listed as pending further study.
“This incident appears at this time to be a tragic accident as we have no evidence to conclude otherwise,” police said. “We will await further information from the medical examiner.”

Authorities are investigating the death of a 2-month-old baby, who was found unresponsive on Wednesday.

East Windsor Police responded to a residence in the Broad Brook section of town around 11:21 a.m. on the report of an unresponsive 2-month-old baby.
Responding patrol units took over CPR of the baby upon their arrival, according to East Windsor Police.
The baby was transported to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center by the East Windsor Ambulance Association where he was pronounced dead.
The East Windsor Detective Division along with the State of Connecticut Medical Examiners Officer and DCF are investigating the incident.
Police said an autopsy is scheduled to be completed Thursday at 9:30 a.m.
