East Windsor Police Pull Suicidal Person Off Bridge
Police responded to the Route 140 bridge on the report of a suicidal person on Wednesday afternoon.

East Windsor police officers pulled a suicidal woman off of the Route 140 bridge and safely onto street Wednesday afternoon.
Police responded to the bridge on a report of a suicidal person at about 3:25 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers found that a female had already climbed over the rail and was hanging over the water and threatening to jump.

Police said the woman refused to communicate with the officers. She was grabbed by the officers and pulled over the rail and onto the street. She was subsequently transported to Manchester Hospital by the East Windsor Ambulance for a medical evaluation.
