East Windsor Police Report Rash of Car Burglaries

Several cars have been stolen and others ransacked in recent days, according to police.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Police are cautioning residents about a recent influx of stolen cars and vehicles being ransacked during overnight hours.

Early Friday morning, between 2 and 3:30 a.m., several cars were entered on Scantic and Winton roads, with one car being stolen from Winton Road, police said.

The Scantic Road incident was caught on camera and involved a black car being driven into the driveway of the home, with three occupants exiting the vehicle, who are then observed rummaging through the homeowner’s vehicles parked in the yard, police said.
