East Windsor Police Save Man's Life With Narcan Dose
Police revived a man who experienced a heroin overdose on a farm with a life-saving dose of Narcan.

East Windsor Police revived an unresponsive man with a life-saving dose of Narcan on Saturday.
Police received a report of a man experiencing a heroin overdose on a farm around 5 p.m.
Police said farm workers brought the unconscious man to a centralized location — Dunkin’ Donuts on South Main Street — to allow for easier access for emergency personnel.

Officer Julia Minihan found the man laying in the parking lot not breathing and she couldn’t locate a pulse. Officer Minihan administered Narcan to revive the man.
Narcan is an antidote to overdoses of illegal drugs such as heroin and prescription painkillers.

Police said this incident marks the second occasion an East Windsor officer has used Narcan successfully since officers began carrying it in 2014.
