"I commend the Board of Finance for their work so far in putting together a responsible budget," Selectman Jason Bowsza said Wednesday. "Considering the Board of Selectmen submitted to them a budget containing a 4.79 percent spending increase, they've certainly done yeoman's work to get that down to 2.05 percent. The voters have decided that they have a little more work to do, and I hope anyone interested in our town's finances will attend tonight's Board of Finance hearing and workshop."
Another referendum on the budget has been scheduled for May 24.
