East Windsor Road Closed After Tree Falls
Drivers were asked to avoid the area while crews waited for the utility company.
EAST WINDSOR, CT — A large tree fell across Rolocut Road in East Windsor Friday, bringing live wires down and leaving the road completely impassable, according to the Broad Brook Fire Department.
Fire officials said Broad Brook firefighters and the Warehouse Point Fire Department were on scene in the area of 16 Rolocut Road. CL&P had been notified and was en route, according to the department.
A few homes in the area were without power, officials said.

The fire department asked drivers to avoid the area, saying the closure would “more than likely” last for an extended period. East Windsor public works crews were also called to place road block signs to keep non-residential traffic out of the area.
