East Windsor Road Work To Extend Into October
A project on a 5-mile stretch of state road will likely cause traffic delays.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - Work has begun on a milling and resurfacing project on Route 140 in East Windsor, and will continue until Oct. 11, according to the state Department of Transportation. Drivers should expect lane closures on I-91 northbound at the exit 45 off/on ramp to Melrose Road No. 2.

The schedule for this work will be 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday through Thursday for I-91 to the Winkler Road off/on ramp and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday for Winkler Road to Melrose Road No. 2.

The project consists of a 5.28 mile segment of Route 140, according to the DOT. The schedule for the work may be modified or extended depending on the weather and other unforseen conditions.
