East Windsor Scarecrow Contest Deadline Coming Up
The theme of this year's contest is book characters.
EAST WINDSOR, CT - The town's Annual Scarecrow Contest is going on now, with the deadline for registering a scarecrow set for Friday. Registration can be done at Town Hall, 11 Rye St. in Broad Brook. This year's theme is book characters and the contest is open to individuals, families, groups, organizations and businesses.

The scarecrow must be able to withstand weather and wind. The town recommends a label on the scarecrow with your name and the book character's name.

All scarecrows will appear on the town's Parks and Recreation Facebook page. Winners will be notified and prizes will be awarded to the top three displays.
