East Windsor Selectman Applies To Have Assault Charges Dropped
Steven Dearborn is accused of assaulting a neighbor in a June dispute.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - East Windsor Selectman Steven Dearborn has applied for special probation to avoid criminal charges in an assault case, the Journal-Inquirer reported. Dearborn is accused of assaulting a man whose property is next to his and who he has had a long-term dispute with.
Dearborn applied for accelerated rehabilitation Tuesday in an attempt to have the charges against him dropped.

Dearborn, 65, of East Road, was charged with third-degree assault on an elderly or disabled person and second-degree breach of peace, both misdemeanors, in connection with the June 20 assault.
