East Windsor Selectman Granted Special Probation For Assault
An East Windsor selectman accused of assaulting his neighbor has been granted accelerated rehabilitation.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - East Windsor Selectman Steven Dearborn has been granted special probation to avoid criminal charges in an assault case, the Journal-Inquirer reported. Dearborn allegedly assaulted a man in June whose property is next to his and who he has had an ongoing feud with.
A judge granted the request for accelerated rehabilitation over the objection of Gerald Wilcox, 70, the neighbor who has accused Dearborn of assault. The judge ordered that Dearborn have no contact with Wilcox under the conditions of his probation, according to the Journal-Inquirer.
