East Windsor, State Buy Land For Open Space

The town and state have purchased a 115-acre property.

EAST WINDSOR, CT - The town and state are funding the purchase of a 115-acre property to be used as open space, the Journal-Inquirer reported. The town is using $216,000 in open space funds to cover 25 percent of the cost, with the state covering the remainder.

The property is located on Rye Street near the Plantation Road Extension and is currently leased as farmland.
