East Windsor Town Official Arrested After Assault Complaint
An elderly man called police to say he had been assaulted by a member of the Board of Selectmen.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — A member of the East Windsor Board of Selectmen has been arrested in connection with a complaint that he assaulted an elderly man.
According to a post on the East Windsor Police Department's Facebook page, police received a call from an elderly man reporting he had been assaulted by Steve Dearborn, a Deputy First Selectman for the town. Responding units conducted an investigation, and determined that an assault had occurred.
Upon locating Dearborn, he was interviewed and taken into custody. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond, and is scheduled to appear in Enfield Superior Court July 3.
