The single biggest issue in town is ______, and I plan to do this about it:

With regard to Education and the achievement of our children in a fiscally responsible manner.

I will work to ensure that the BOE and Administration work with all segments of our community in a collaborative manner to ensure that our resources are directed to student achievement.

Critical differences between me and my opponents:

I believe it is imperative that critical discussions regarding student achievement and spending happen in a collaborative and public manner that allows all stakeholders to understand and engage in our educational system. The District has not worked in a transparent fashion and the BOE needs to ensure that changes.

Accomplishments:

As a current Board of Finance, Alternate and my previous experience as the Board of Finance Chair, and I feel that I have a good understanding of the budgeting aspect of both the School District and Town Government. That experience will be beneficial in establishing a more collaborative working environment between the School District and Town side government.

Other issues:

Ensuring that our graduates are positioned for success in their future endeavors.

What else would you like voters to know about you?

I have lived in East Windsor for 30 years and raised my children and now help with raising my grandchild. It is a wonderful place to live and I hope to make a contribution to ensure a bright future for our Town.
