Former East Windsor Police Officer Under Investigation for Alleged Threatening Facebook Post
The retired officer allegedly made the comment in response to another man's post that threatened police.

An alleged threatening Facebook post has a former East Windsor police officer under investigation, according to the Journal Inquirer.
The Journal Inquirer reports that Raymond “Doug” Humphrey, who retired from the department in 2006, is being investigated for allegedly asking his “law enforcement friends” to kill a Chicopee, Massachusetts man who posted a threatening comment toward police officers on Facebook.
Humphrey, an East Windsor resident, allegedly made the comment in reference to a post on the Chicopee Police Department’s Facebook page regarding Chicopee resident Charles DiRosa, according to the Journal Inquirer.

The Chicopee Police Department posted on its Facebook page that DiRosa posted on his own page “Put Wings on Pigs.” and after recent events, the department took the threat “very seriously” and said DiRosa would be summonsed to court for Threat to Commit a Crime.
The East Windsor Police Department posted on its Facebook page that it is taking the matter regarding Humphrey’s post “seriously” and that before it takes any official steps or actions “we must ensure that an impartial and comprehensive investigation is completed. We must know all of the facts, determine if or what crime has occurred, and that we have jurisdiction to take formal action.”
