Fruit Hurrah!

It is peak season for all of your favorite fruits at the East Windsor Farmers' Market. Now is the time to stock up if you want to makes some pies or do some canning. My favorite is grilled peaches. Halve some peaches, remove the pit and soak them in balsamic vinegar and lemon juice. Seal in the flavors with plastic wrap. After 30 minutes or more of marinating I grill the round side first, just to get that carmelization started, then flip them onto the marinated side. These yummy grilled peaches smarten up both savory and sweet entrees. I love them with either chicken or pork but I would make a meal just on grilled peaches alone. Meet me at the market!
