Garage Fire Quickly Contained On Route 5 In East Windsor
The fire was brought under control in about 20 minutes, before it had a chance to spread to a neighboring mobile home community.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Firefighters quickly snuffed out a garage fire at a Route 5 home Monday morning, extinguishing the blaze before it had a chance to spread to an adjacent mobile home community.
The fire was reported at 178 South Main Street at 8:31 a.m., prompting response from both the Warehouse Point and Broad Brook fire departments. A 1-1/2 story detached garage has visible fire in its attic area, which was contained in about 20 minutes, according to Jim Barton, Warehouse Point fire chief.
No injuries were sustained during the fire.

The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
