HOLIDAY VACATION FUN AT THE NEW ENGLAND AIR MUSEUM!
Fun interactive programs that inspire and educate all ages!
The New England Air Museum is zooming into winter with a full slate of exciting school vacation week activities for the whole family December 28th-31st. Explore three giant hangars filled with over 80 aircraft and experience the wonders of flight through engaging programs for all ages. Daily programs include Flight Science Demonstrations and hands-on Build & Fly Challenges. In addition to these daily activities, the following special events are scheduled:
Monday, December 28th, Aero Modeling Workshop. Build and test fly your own balsa airplane model. This workshop is designed for children ages 8-14. All children must be accompanied by an adult, and there is a $5.00 cost per model kit. The workshop will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tuesday, December 29th, Open Cockpit. Climb aboard real aircraft including helicopters, jet fighters and WWII era aircraft between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Wednesday, December 30th & Thursday, December 31st- LEGO Flying Machine Contest. Children ages 3-12 are encouraged to build their own “Futuristic” flying machine. Prizes will be awarded for each age category and winners need not be present to win. The LEGO Flying Machine Contest will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
All activities are included with the price of admission on the day of your visit except where noted. Each day docents will be on hand to provide information and to interact with the visitors.

The Museum will be open from 10:00 am to 5 pm. Admission is $12.50 for ages 12 and up, $11.50 for seniors 65 and up and $7.00 for ages 4 to 11. Children under 3 are admitted free. For more information, visit www.neam.org or call (860) 623-3305.
