Honors and Diplomas Earned By Local College Students

Bryant University, Smithfield RI

• Matthew Stafford, class of 2020, from Windsor Locks, has been named to the President's List for the spring 2020 semester. The President's List is an academic distinction reserved for Bryant's highest achievers who earn a GPA of 4.0 or better for at least 12 semester hours of work.
• The University is pleased to recognize three students from Windsor Locks who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2020 semester: Paul Koretz, class of 2020; Sarah Rossi, class of 2022; and Matthew Stafford, class of 2020.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Hundreds of students graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University this spring 2020 semester. Eric Geckler of Windsor Locks graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication.

Nichols College, Dudley MA

• Nichols College graduated over 300 students this spring. Virtual celebrations were held for both undergraduate and graduate recipients on May 2, 2020 with an in person commencement ceremony promised for a date to be determined. Miles Meacham of Broad Brook received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting. Michael Welti of Broad Brook received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with a major in Marketing.

University of Nebraska, Lincoln NE

• Ashley Novak of Broad Brook has been named to the Deans' List at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for the spring semester of the 2019-20 academic year. Novak, a freshman anthropology major, was named to the Dean's List for the College of Arts and Sciences.
