House Fire In East Windsor Quickly Contained
The fire late Sunday morning was contained within 30 minutes, according to fire officials.

EAST WINDSOR, CT — Firefighters from seven area departments quickly extinguished a blaze at a home on Cemetery Road late Sunday morning.
Just before noon, a structure fire was reported at 26 Cemetery Road. Smoke was showing from behind the siding of the house, and due to a lack of hydrants in the area, fire officials requested mutual aid, including three tankers. Personnel from the Broad Brook, Warehouse Point, South Windsor, Enfield, Somers, Crystal Lake and Ellington fire departments all worked to put out the fire.
The fire was deemed under control within a half hour. No injuries were reported, and the American Red Cross was assisting a resident of the home, officials said.
