WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Police have arrested a juvenile after residents made calls regarding a suspicious person who later resisted arrest. Police said the suspect was walking on Denslow Street toward Old Country Road, an area where people have reported items being stolen from vehicles.

He was going through residents' backyards and trying homes' side doors.

Police then located him. He was wearing a T-shirt inside out and was "disheveled and uncooperative." Police said he "verbally belittled the officers" and provided his name with an incorrect birth date.

He then sprinted away from police into the Candlewood Suites Hotel at 149 Ella Grasso Turnpike.

The hotel's manager called 911, reporting that a male was causing "annoyance and alarm" and trying door handles to customers' rooms.
