Selectman in East Windsor unethical behavior - UPDATE
UPDATE -
For approximately a decade, I have been a business neighbor of Mr. Dearborn on Newberry Road, Never once have I witnessed any outward concern for veterans nor POW-MIA’s. As I stated in the article below, his disrespect is constant towards me as a vet. He has never flown a POW-MIA flag the entire time I have been a neighbor - that is until today. Do you think it has anything to do with the selectmen elections that are being held tomorrow that Mr. Dearborn, who has never served a day in the military for his country, all of a sudden begins showing concern for vets - especially those missing or held captive? Is he feigning concern for vets for political gain? Think hard about this before you vote for him as a select.

Within the Town of East Windsor, there is a standard of ethics which must be upheld by elected officials. With Steve Dearborn, one of the Town’s Selectman, there are many ways in which he does not uphold these ethics. Here is just a sampling of unethical behaviors and things that he has done that I am personally aware of.
His trailer dumps are registered out of state but are housed in East Windsor and are working out of his place in East Windsor. It appears that he has them registered out of state to avoid taxes to the Town of East Windsor where he is a selectman.

Being a taxpayer, businessman and a Marine Corps Vietnam vet, I think I speak for all our veterans in saying that constantly sticking up his middle finger at me and other lewd gestures does not show respect to those who serve our country. One would think our elected officials would go out of their way to respect veterans.
On many, many occasions, Mr. Dearborn throws glass bottles and smashes them on my driveway and constantly litters the front of my property with trash. Personnel from my company and I have witnessed this and we have informed the police on several occasions. They have come and addressed the issue with Mr. Dearborn to no avail. Is this ethical behavior from a Town Selectman?
When my company was installing a legal roadway adjoining my property and our neighboring business’ property, Mr. Dearborn came onto their property and raised such a ruckus that I was informed by the police department that they arrested him for breach of peace. He has been notified by the police department that he is prohibited from ever entering this business’ property.
I have witnessed many occasions during town meetings when Mr. Dearborn has disrespected women and officials who serve the Town in different capacities, uses vulgar language in these meetings and has even forced the Town to finance polic presence in these meetings to assure order and good conduct by him.
