The theme of the fourth and final week of the Summer Reading Program, Dig into Reading is Just Dig It!. Come to the library Thursday, August 1 for the movie The Muppets take Manhattan at 1pm. The last story time will be held Friday August 2 at 10:30 for the summer session. And don't forget if you have a ticket, the grand finale, sparky's Puppets, will be Monday, August 5 at 6:30pm.
Later this month the Library will be showing the family movie, The Greening of Whitney Brown, on Thursday, August 15 at 1pm. Whitney Brown, a spoiled pre-teen, is forced to move to the country when her parents experience economic times. A fish out of water, far from her comfort zone, she befriends an amazing horse, and undertakes a misguided journey back to her old life, only to discover that her family is her home. The movie is rated PG. Admission is free and there is no registration. Call the Library for more information.
