WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — My name is Norman Boucher and I am running for the Board of Finance. I have been a board member for ten years; the last two years as Chairman.

Two years ago when I was asked to become Chairman, I asked each person on the Board to think what raising taxes meant. To me, it means removing monies from people’s savings and retirement accounts.

Under my leadership, the Board of Finance has kept taxes stable while funding all critical town services during the Covid 19 pandemic.

My roots have always been in Windsor Locks and I have stayed in town with my family for 63 years. My wife and I are self-employed in a family business, so we understand the impact of having taxes raised.

I heard today that someone wanted to know what I would do if I were re-elected. It is imperative Windsor Locks residents be fully informed. Our meetings are currently held in person at Town Hall and via Zoom.

This is what I have done and will continue to do if re-elected. I am asking for your continued support and vote for me on November 2nd.
