Major U.S. Airlines Requiring Face Masks Be Worn: Bradley Airport

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Bradley Airport announced that several airlines will require people to wear face masks or face coverings.

In an announcement made Sunday, the local airline said, "In response to COVID-19, several of our airline partners will soon be requiring passengers to wear face masks or face coverings:

American Airlines

American Airlines will soon require all customers traveling to wear a face covering (or mask) while on board the aircraft starting May 11. This new requirement is part of the airline’s ongoing commitment to prioritizing customer and team member well-being in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Delta Airlines

Aligning with best practice guidelines from the CDC, starting May 4, Delta will require all customers to wear a face mask or appropriate face covering when traveling. For more information, visit the Delta website: https://news.delta.com/facecoverings

Frontier Airlines

At Frontier, your health and safety are a top priority. Beginning May 8, all Frontier customers will be required to wear a face covering over their nose and mouth throughout their journey. Jet Blue
