Man Arrested in Connection With Windsor Locks Stabbing

The Hartford resident was arrested after a fight at a hotel resulted in a man suffering a stab wound, police said.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — An early-morning altercation at a Windsor Locks hotel Sunday resulted in the stabbing of one man and the arrest of another.

Around 12:22 a.m., police were dispatched to a fight at the Quality Inn on route 75. Upon arrival, a male victim, 26, was found outside, conscious and alert, with a non life-threatening stab wound to the side of his torso, police said.

Investigation by Windsor Locks police revealed the identity of the suspect, who was later detained by Windsor police near the Hartford town line, after a description was broadcast to area towns.

Antonio Johnson, 40, of 1670 Main Street in Hartford, was arrested without incident, and charged with second-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Bond was set at $25,000, and Johnson is scheduled to appear in Enfield Superior Court Sept. 12.
