Man With Pellet Gun, Knife Caught At Bradley Airport: Police
Connecticut State police discovered the items in a carry-on bag early Saturday morning, according to authorities.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A Ledyard man is facing multiple charges after authorities at Bradley International Airport discovered a pellet gun, two magazines, and a folding knife inside his carry-on bag, according to police.
Marvin Leggett, 41, was charged with two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon and two counts of circumventing airport security after Connecticut State Police were called to the airport shortly before 5:40 a.m. Saturday.
According to police, security checkpoint staff alerted authorities that Leggett was possibly transporting a gun in his carry-on luggage. When officers arrived and searched his luggage, authorities said they found a pellet gun, two magazines, and a folding knife.

During the search, police learned Leggett had an active warrant for his arrest in New Britain. He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
Leggett was later released from state police custody on a $15,000 non-surety bond. He was then taken into custody by the New Britain Police Department.

Leggett is scheduled to appear in court on March 10.
