Man Charged After Gun Found In Suitcase At Bradley Airport

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A New Britain resident was arrested at Bradley International Airport Monday morning after a Transportation Security Administration (TSA) agent found a firearm inside his suitcase.

State troopers were dispatched to the airport around 8:48 a.m. upon a report that a firearm was improperly packed into a suitcase. It was located in a luggage checkpoint, according to state police.

Gregory Cosby, 60, was charged with illegally tampering with airport equipment and carrying a pistol without a permit. He was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond, and is scheduled to appear Nov. 1 in Hartford Superior Court.
