Man Charged With Exposing Himself to the Pool at Windsor Locks Hotel

A woman and child witnessed the whole thing, police said.

WINDSOR LOCKS — A 56-year-old man has been charged with public indecency after a woman complained to police that he exposed himself through a hotel room window while she and her daughter were using the swimming pool, police said.

The man, identified as Donald Shamber of Vernon, was also charged with risk of injury to a minor and disorderly conduct, police said. He lives at 26 Pillsbury Hill in the Rockville section of Vernon, police said.

After the woman called, officers went to the to the Travel Lodge at 383 South Center St., police said. The woman then told police the man was performing a lewd act while standing in the window of his room, according to a report.

He was to appear in court on Monday.
