Man Robbed At Gunpoint Outside Hotel, Windsor Locks Police Say
Police say a suspect displayed a handgun and stole rings from a man outside a hotel on Ella Grasso Turnpike.
WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — Police are investigating an armed robbery reported late Tuesday night at a hotel on Ella Grasso Turnpike, authorities said.
According to the Windsor Locks Police Department, officers responded around 10:05 p.m. to a report of a robbery in the parking lot of the Bradley Inn, located at 5 Ella Grasso Turnpike.
Police said an adult victim reported being approached by a Black male wearing all black or dark clothing, including a hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up and a dark-colored half facial mask. The suspect allegedly forced the victim to hand over two rings and punched the victim in the face when he refused to give up a third ring.

The suspect reportedly displayed a handgun during the encounter but did not fire it, police said. The suspect then fled the area on foot.
A perimeter was set up with assistance from Windsor police, and a canine track was conducted but did not locate the suspect. Police said the victim’s injuries were minor.
