Men Charged With Yelling Ethnic Slurs at Windsor Locks Airport
The men are accused of accosting a man and his family at Bradley International Airport early Thursday morning.

WINDSOR LOCKS, CT — A pair of men were arrested early Thursday morning after a patron at Bradley International Airport contacted police, claiming he was accosted by the men and subjected to ethnic slurs and vulgarity, state police said.
Around 12:17 a.m., Troop H/Bradley International Airport personnel were contacted by the victim, who explained the two suspects shouted ethnic slurs and vulgarity at him and his family while they were waiting to leave the airport, according to a police report.
The victim was able to avoid a physical confrontation despite the provocation and gathered photos of the suspects, as well as their license plate when they fled the area, police said.

Troopers from Troop H in Hartford gathered the available information, and with the assistance of personnel from Troop I in Bethany, were able to locate and arrest the two offenders. Both suspects attempted to flee from arresting troopers but were taken into custody and transported to Troop H where they were processed, police said.
Nicholas R. Diorio, 27, and Anthony M. Diorio, 29, both of 18 Rockridge Terrace in Prospect, were charged with intimidation based on bigotry/bias, interfering with police and breach of peace/threatening. Bond for each was set at $10,000 bond, and they are scheduled to appear in Enfield Superior Court Nov. 9.
