EAST WINDSOR, CT — A 137-acre parcel of land on Winkler and North roads, near the Enfield town line, is intended to be developed into a mixture of housing and commercial units, according to the Hartford Business Journal.

A Shelton-based limited liability company, North Winkler EW LLC, purchased the land for $1.15 million in July from the Sachem Capital Corp. It encompasses 55 Winkler Road, 120 and 173 North Road, and two unnumbered parcels on North Road, according to a warranty deed filed with the East Windsor town clerk's office.

Developer James Cormier, head of the LLC, told town officials he envisions a broad mix of affordable housing, as well as commercial buildings, the Hartford Business Journal reported.
